Pizza Dough
Ingredients
- 3½ cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 package instant dry yeast
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1½ cups warm water (105°-110°) (microwave for 40 seconds)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Directions
Oil up a mixing bowl with a little bit of olive oil.
Combine all dry ingredients into stand mixer bowl.
Mix on low for a minute using dough hook attachment.
Add water and olive oil.
Mix until dough ball forms.
If still sticky, continue adding a tablespoon more flour until only slightly sticky.
When done, form dough into a ball.
Put dough ball in the oiled bowl.
Cover with plastic wrap.
Let it sit for an hour in a warm place (should double in size).
Knead the ball gently and reform the ball.
Put back in bowl and cover with plastic wrap for 10 minutes.
Make the Pizza
Heat oven to 450°F with pizza stone in.
Form the dough into a large pizza shape.
Put bare pizza dough onto the hot stone.
Add the ingredients.
Put in oven for 16 minutes (rotate once halfway through).
